Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s arrival isn’t happening anytime soon yet but we know there will be one. The next-gen Note is being prepped for release since renders and leaks are being published more frequently. We have a feeling there are more sources and retailers receiving information about the premium device. We thought the Note 9 would already apply the under-display sensor but the technology isn’t ready at this point. We can say it will roll out in time for the Galaxy S10 but not for the Galaxy Note 9.

By now, we’ve told you everything you need to know about the Note 9 including that horizontal dual camera setup, new and improved S-Pen, Bixby 2.0, Android 8.1 Oreo, 6GB RAM, and Snapdragon 845 processor. Rumor has it Samsung is planning on a 512GB variant which is very large for a smartphone. We’re used to Samsung introducing a 128GB or 256GB models as with the Galaxy S9, S9+, and the Note 8. The 512GB is a first from Samsung but not exactly the first phone since the Huawei NEO-AL00 phone, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Saygus V2, and the ASUS ROG Phone featuring the same large storage capacity.

That is one exciting rumor but unfortunately, we may not be able to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 512GB model unless we’re in South Korea or China. The variant is said to be exclusive to the two countries but we’re crossing our fingers other regions will receive the same even if later in the year.

We’re still looking at 6GB but we’re expecting an 8GB RAM version as well. As for the processor, there will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 version and an Exynos 9810 model. The Android 8.1 Oreo is also expected to be replaced by Android P with the latest Samsung Experience very soon.

To review, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will not have any notch. Samsung isn’t jumping into the notch bandwagon but it’s certainly reducing the bezels as proven by a few images. We’re still looking forward to an earlier release because of low Galaxy S9 sales but there’s some small, last minute change.

We have an idea about the design–it will still look like the old Galaxy Note 8 as per some image renders. Those screen protectors don’t show any notch either so it will look very similar to the last-gen mode. The rear fingerprint sensor will still be there, just below the dual cameras so, in a way, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S9+. General specs of the phone include a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, Exynos 9810/Snapdragon 845 chipset, and probably some 3850 to 4000mAh battery.
