Google I/O 2016 is just around the corner. It will be held in a new location in Mountain View, California and we’re excited to know who will win the ‘2016 Android Experiments I/O Challenge’. This year, the Google Play Awards will be held first at the tech event as one way to recognize the best apps and the best developers in the Android community.
According to the Android developer team, Google Play reached over a billion users the past year all over the world. About 190 countries have active Android mobile users now. For the first time ever, the tech giant is holding the Google Play Awards.
A panel of experts decided on ten (10) award categories with five nominees each. Criteria were set looking on app quality, innovation, and a major update in the last 12 months. Winner will be announced at the Google I/O conference.
