Hugo Barra, coming by way of his Google+ page, recently reached out to Xiaomi users looking for help in naming and a new product. Barra referred to this as a clever little gadget, and included some potential name ideas of Mi Button and Mi Key. More to the point here, this clever little gadget turns your headphone jack into a clickable button.

Pebble: five apps worth checking out

Pebble 2.0 arrived for Android earlier in the month. Of course, that meant not only an updated Android app for the Pebble, but access to the Pebble appstore. We suspect most Pebble users have already picked their favorite apps, and such is the case with us. Here we are sharing our top five favorite Pebble apps, and also looking for some suggestions for new apps.

Android Camera update may arrive ahead of 4.4.3 update

Motorola has been pushing fairly regular updates for the camera app. That comes because the app is already available by way of the Play Store. And with that in mind, it looks like Google could be getting ready to do the same. Some talk of an updated Android camera app has surfaced and along with talk of it coming available by way of the Play Store -- there appears to be quite a few worthwhile changes and improvements coming.

Motorola adds “Powered by Android” with latest boot services update

As we've mentioned in the past, Motorola is able to push frequent updates given they have released many of the core service apps in the Play Store. One of those happens to be the Motorola Boot Services app, and as Motorola has done before -- they are having a bit of fun with this latest update. Those with a Moto X or Moto G will want to make sure this update has been installed and then reboot their device.

Lenovo A-Series tablet lineup expands

Lenovo has officially unveiled the latest in the A-Series tablet lineup. In this case that means a handful of models including the A7-30, A7-50, A8 and the A10. As suggested by the model numbers, these tablets will all vary in display size. Lenovo also appears to be pushing these for different purposes.

Sony Xperia Z2 and Z1S users getting Michael Jackson’s XSCAPE

The latest Michael Jackson album was announced by Epic Records yesterday. The album is called XSCAPE and currently touted as being "the best you've never heard." XSCAPE will be available beginning on May 13th, however it looks like some Sony Xperia users will be able to grab the album for free -- on the day of release.

BBM 2.1 update adds stickers, group photo sharing, more

BlackBerry began teasing an update for BBM earlier in the month. There were some details offered at the time, however BlackBerry opted to keep any sort of release date a mystery. Well, it seems April 1st was the date they had been waiting for. The latest BBM update brings the app to version 2.1 with new features to include stickers, group image sharing and larger file transfers.

Pebble availability expands to Target with Arctic White model

The original model Pebble is now available with another retailer. Said retailer is Target and they will have the original Pebble available online and in retail locations (with a slight catch). The price is the familiar $149.99 and those considering a purchase can expect to find three color options -- one of which arrives as a retail first.
