Chromecast device has received its first update. This afternoon the folks from Google have quickly (and quietly) announced that the Chromecast is getting an update starting today. Users will get it automatically, and they won't need to do a thing to enjoy all the benefits.
Google has been busy lately with different Calendar options across Android and our PCs. After finally bringing their Calender as a stand-alone app to the Play Store last year, it's seen several updates and improvements. As expected Google is continuing to improve the app, and today's update added something many will be happy to see.

Motorola seems to have been doing a fine job of keeping people talking about the Moto X smartphone. The official launch event is scheduled for tomorrow, August 1st, and it looks like they are going to continue the teasing right up until that kicks off. We have seen more than a few Moto X related teasers coming from the Motorola Twitter account and today appears to be no different.
smartwatch space continues to be tested and it is looking like the latest entry is going to be one called the Omate TrueSmart. This will be another watch that takes the funding campaign route. The folks at Omate have yet to specify which platform they will be using, however they have provided us with a few early details about what can be expected.
