Samsung Galaxy W Hands-On with Three [Video]
A mister Brendan Arndt from the UK's Three network has today been allowed to show off Samsung's newest smartphone effort, the Samsung Galaxy W. This is what Arndt calls "a sneak peek" video and introduces the mid-range device as coming out of the box with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, having a Super Clear LCD display on the front at 3.7-inches, the back holds a 5 megapixel camera with single LED flash. Also on the back is one of Samsung's new textured battery covers (as they've been prone to add on many of their most recent devices, the Samsung Galaxy S II included.)

Samsung Galaxy S II Banned in Europe by Apple Injunction
In a manner extremely similar to what we saw just about a week ago (then quickly limited in scope), Apple has successfully worked with Dutch courts in The Hague to, starting today, issue a preliminary injunction against three Samsung devices: the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Ace, and Galaxy S. This injunction, just like the last, due to EU law, bans the devices from sale across the entire European Union. This injunction does not include the Galaxy Tab 10.1, though with a case going on in Germany at the same time, Apple may be choosing case locations where they'll be most effective.

AT&T Roadmap Leaks, Showly plenty of Android on the way
It appears that AT&T's roadmap for the second half of 2011 has been leaked to the press. We recently saw a leaked roadmap of Samsung and none of the devices or numbers seem to be matching up but if this latest leak reveals anything, it's that AT&T has plenty of Samsung phones on the way running Android.

Today ASUS has started the rollout for a small OTA update to the ASUS EeePad Transformer Tablet. From initial reports the update brings the Transformer up to build 8.6.5.9 and many are reporting that Netflix is now fully supported. We saw the Netflix logo appear on the homepage for the ASUS Transformer but we've still yet to see any official comments or support as of late.

HTC Status Facebook Phone getting discontinued already?
It appears AT&T is ready to de-friend the HTC Status. Are AT&T and HTC looking to discontinue the HTC Status (aka Facebook phone) already? I know deep down all you readers are screaming NOOO silently because you all just love this little phone. Some new rumors are floating around and have yet to be confirmed that are claiming that AT&T is ready to put this little guy down after only a short while on the market.

HTC EVO 3D coming soon in White thanks to RadioShack
RadioShack today has announced they will be launching the popular glasses-free 3D phone the HTC EVO 3D come September 9th, and it will be dressed in White. We saw the original EVO 4G get a similar make over but the entire device wasn't changed and mainly just the back cover. This time around the entire phone will get spiced up, that includes the camera bezels and everything. What do you think?

Sharp RW-T107 Android 2.3 Gingerbread Tablet with NFC
The folks over at Sharp have announced a new NFC enabled tablet headed for Japan. This will be a 7" Android tablet but initial reports are claiming we will only have Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board here, no Honeycomb for now. A big part of the release is the full support for NFC interaction with support for Japanese FeliCa cards at the start, but we can expect additional cards in the near future.

Motorola DROID Bionic Caught on video, shows us the boot animation and more
Look what we have here, the Motorola Droid Bionic appearing while the camera is rolling. Instead of a Mr. Blurrycam picture we actually get a video today. This may not be much but it does show us the boot animation, the new Moto Blur or whatever you want to call the user interface, as well as another shot of Speedtest giving the Bionic and its 4G LTE a run for its money.
