Exactly three weeks from now, LG will finally be unveiling the LG G4–its latest flagship phone that will probably rival the Samsung Galaxy S6. The South Korean giant has just published a new teaser video for the smartphone that boasts of the latest 5.5-inch QHD LCD Panel, also from LG.The phone is believed to be the last G and could be radically different from the old models.
This April unveiling was expected since LG said it would not announce a flagship at the MWC. Hare’s what we know so far: phone will show the revamped UX 4.0, launch will be a global affair, some photos were leaked, front and side view images also leaked, and another leak on Twitter.
As for the G4’s specs, there’s no official list released by LG yet but a recent GFXBench sighting shown as the LG G4 will have the following: 5.5-inch display, 2560 x 1440 resolution, a hexa core CPU @1.8GHz Qualcomm processor (Snapdragon 808), 32GB built-in storage, 15MP camera, 7MP front-facing camera, and 3GB RAM. We’re guessing it can handle Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. And oh, the LG G4 could have a leather build based on this video.
The F 1.8 reference could be something related to the phone’s camera. Aside from the LG G4, the company is believed to also release a phablet (phone-tablet) according to an FCC document. This could be a new LG phablet model but there’s also the possibility of it being the LG G4. Let’s wait to see and feel this ‘great’ phone according to LG. April 28 isn’t that far.
