Verizon Wireless may have accidentally posted the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ 128GB variants but the two phones are definitely getting much higher storage capacities. The reimagined smartphones are receiving 128GB and 256GB models in the United States. You see, 64GB is enough as onboard storage. You need more memory to save all those photos and videos, as well as, be able to download and use all those apps and games you like.

This good news is something we knew would happen soon since in the past, 128GB variants were also released. We remember the 128GB, 6GB RAM Samsung Galaxy S8+ in India and Russia. As for the 256GB model, we remember the Galaxy Note 8 getting such in South Korea. Other OEMs also rolled out 256GB models of their phones including ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Deluxe in Taiwan.

With 256GB and 128GB storage options, we think you’d be having a hard time filling up the storage because those are really large. Your phone won’t have to slow down and compete with all the content inside. If you’re not satisfied, you can still use the microSD card slot and add some more up to 400GB.
