After spotting what’s believed to be the OnePlus Two benchmarked on Geekbench, here comes OnePlus teasing something on Twitter. The company posted a hint about a device that could “shake up the tech industry”. The OnePlus team says it’s time for change so we could expect a new phone, possibly the OnePlus Two after all it’s been tipped already and we heard that OnePlus is planning to release two smartphones this year.
Over at Twitter, OnePlus posted this message:
“We’re always looking for ways to shake up the tech industry. And we think it’s time for change. Find out more June 1.”
That’s a not so clear message but we’ll definitely know on Monday, 1st of June. So far, we heard the OnePlus 2 launch rumored to be pushed to Q4 of 2015. We speculated its introduction last month but there was nothing. It turned out that OnePlus is now available for everyone even without an official invitation.
Since it’s “time to change”, we’re guessing the next-generation OnePlus smartphone will no longer run Cyanogen after all the issues encountered. After the legal battles in India, Cyanogen support is still available but it might change with the OnePlus Two. The OnePlus One has just been made available for anyone even without an invite. The company even expanded in Malaysia last month.
What do you think about this “change” the Shenzen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer is talking about? Let’s wait and see.

A non-defective display would be a good start.
