Sony has put an end to the Z series with the Xperia Z5 being the last but it was quickly replaced by the Xperia X as their smartest series to date. There will be no more Xperia Z6 but we can expect Sony to introduce more models this year. As you already know, 2016 is Sony’s make-or-break year. The Japanese company is watching its mobile business closely before the execs decide on what direction to take.

The Xperia C line is still available but we have yet to see the new Xperia C6—some renders of which were leaked a couple of months ago looking like the C5 Ultra.

The upcoming Xperia C is believed to be another mid-range smartphone but with a bigger 6-inch display screen. This is according to a leaked set of photos of a phone that really looks like an Xperia C5 Ultra. However, this one may also remind you of the recently unveiled Xperia XA. So far, here’s what we know about the purported Xperia C6: 6.0-inch screen, dual SIM card support, MediaTek processor, slim side bezels, and a front-facing flash.

You can say this is just like any other Xperia C phone in the past but the flash in the front makes all the difference. Let’s wait for the official announcement.

  1. Sony can announce as many phones as they want, but they also need to start shipping them. Where’s my New Xperia X Performance? Everyone else is playing with their new Samsungs and LGs 🙁
