If you may remember, the Google Pixel XL on the Google Store went out of stock after launch. Even Verizon is delaying shipment once more to January due to high demand. Well, high demand-low supply is way better than production ending. This time, the Pixel XL 32GB model is now back in store but with different color variants having different shipment dates.
We’ve seen the Pixel XL as subject of several rigorous tests a few times already. It was pitted against the OnePlus 3T in a Charging Speed Test. It was compared to the LG V20 in a Speed Test and another one with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
We discovered through a teardown treatment that the Google Pixel XL has modular parts. However, it’s not so easy to repair for some reason. Phone was also submerged under water for about an hour. It survived all these tests although with the quality being compromised a bit already.
To review, the Google Pixel XL comes equipped with the following: 5.5-inch AMOLED display, 1440 X 2560 pixel resolution, 32GB/128GB onboard storage, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing cam, 4GB RAM, Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, and a 3450mAh battery. Phone already runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Order directly from the Google Store.
