Nokia 5.1 Plus

Nokia has several phones in its current lineup but it’s determined to capture a larger share of the mobile market. HMD Global wants to advance Nokia by adding more storage and more RAM to one of its more popular phones. The Nokia 5.1 Plus will be upgraded with 4GB or 6GB RAM plus a 64GB onboard storage. The change will be available first in India. HMD Global’s VP and Country Head Ajey Mehta shared over on Twitter the good news that the improved Nokia 5.1 Plus will be out on February 7 online. Retail stores will start selling the phone on the 12th of February.

HMD Global recently announced the Verizon-exclusive Nokia 2 V and teased the Nokia 9 with multiple cameras.

HMD has also teamed up with three North American mobile carriers so expect more Nokia phones to roll out. Android Pie is ready for the Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 5.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus hit TENAA back in June together with the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. We noted that it’s similar to the Nokia X6 or Nokia X5 in China .

Nokia 5.1 Plus has already received the Android 9 Pie. The Nokia team must have seen the potential of the phone that adding bigger storage and more RAM will do the Nokia 5.1 Plus good.
