We already know that the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S6 will be arriving to the United States on April 11. We don’t know if the S6 edge will come with it but in the UK, Samsung lovers there will be able to send their pre-orders starting March 20, Friday. That’s for both the S6 and S6 edge. Several mobile networks will carry the smartphones including O2, EE, Three, Vodafone, and Carphone Warehouse.

If you choose to pre-order from Samsung.com or the Samsung Experience Store, you will receive the phone one day earlier on April 9. This is definitely good news for those in the region but we have no information on pricing and under what plans the phones will be offered. Of course, these are high-end Samsung smartphones so we can expect premium price tags but we learned a couple of weeks ago that the contract-free entry level Galaxy S6 (32GB) will be 700 euros ($759) while the S6 edge is 850 euros ($921). Or if you have more money to spend, you can even get the 24K Gold, Rose, and Platinum versions of the phones from Goldgenie.

So far, we have learned many good things about the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Root access for the T-Mobile Galaxy S6 is ready according to Chainfire. Several accessories for the two models are also in the works like those from OtterBox and and Urban Armor Gear. The number of pre-orders actually reached 20 million already and more will be added soon.

In case you’re wondering if the Galaxy S6 is good enough, the phone recently scored highest in processor benchmark, battery is sort of removable, it has the best OLED display on a smartphone, and you can use its fingerprint sensor to log into websites. Both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge impress but you need to check the out for yourself.
