As excitement builds up for the official launch date of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, makers of customized luxury smartphones Goldgenie announced that these two devices will come out in 24k gold, rose gold, and platinum finish. Pre-orders will already begin this week so that if you wish for these kinds of smartphones, you can be one of the earliest to do so.

The Galaxy S6 and S6 edge doesn’t come in the OEM’s usual plastic casing but instead now has premium glass and metal. The Galaxy S6 edge in particular has a very unique look with its curved glass that is not just aesthetic but acutally functional. Goldgenie says they are the first in the world to have 24k gold embellishment finish on the previous flagship, the Galaxy S5 as well as the Alpha models. They even presented British actor and star of Selma, David Oyelowo with a 24K gold Galaxy S5 at a pre-Oscars event this year.

Aside from its golden finish, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge remain the same awesome gadget that everyone is eagerly awaiting to actually own. It will also come with a high-speed wireless charger, which is one of the things we’re looking forward to as smartphones are notorious for battery hogging. It will also come in 64GB and 128GB variamts, which is perfect also for storing a lot of media files and apps on a spanking new smartphone.

They will start accepting pre-orders by March 20, 9AM until April 7. But you would need to put down a 50% deposit to be able to secure your unit and then pay the rest of the balance soon after. You can start ordering the regular way as soon as Samsung starts by April 10. Prices start at £1664 exc. VAT which is around $2,500.

  1. Hum does more and has all new revolutionary tech inside than the gold Iphone 6 and more than the Apple watch, basicly providing more value for your buck and still costs less? Samsung for the Win.

    • How can it win if all it did was use the design of the iPhone 6 and the build quality of the iPhone 4?? Either you are blind, or just another ignorant Samtard fanboy. And before you go off calling me a Apple fanboy, I own a HTC M8, before that a galaxy Note3, and Note2. I amazed how you Samtards are so quick to knock Apple beings that you’re almighty Samsung tries to mirror there imagine and design concept from the IPHONE since day one.

      • So it’s acceptable for apple to copy Sammy but when Samsung tees to use similar materials they are all of a sudden copy cats. What the hell kind of material can they use to not be copy cats. If they can’t use anything that apple has used. Let’s see. Apple has used metal and glass. So that only leaves plastic. So what are they supposed to use if all they have left is plastic. Every one is already wining that plastic feels cheep. So tell me what they should have used. And don’t tell me I don’t know something else. Because that simply shows you don’t even know what your talking about. Heck they copied HTC too. HTC was the first one to have unibody metal. And apple copied it for their i6.

      • Please explain what Apple copied off of Samsung’s? First of all I’m no ifan, I’m all about HTC. Secondly, I know Apple copied the design of the HTC M7 & M8 dir the iPhone6. I made similar statements about the iPhone as well. HTC set the bar super high for build quality and design. What makes me sick is the fact that Apple uses HTC’s award winning design and it’s the best selling iPhone. Samsung designs the S6 with close to almost identical look of the iPhone6 and the build quality of a iPhone 4 and people are acting as if it’s ART. That being said, the biggest Apple haters are usually Samsung fanboys. And for a manufacturer ( Samsung ) who copies Apple more than any other, you would think Samfans would worship Apple. The only thing that Samsung never copied that mattered most, was how a smartphone should perform. Hopefully they got it right this time, then all you Samtards will get to see what you all been missing out on all these years.

      • I have both and am staying with samsung one huge difference battery last longer when using pandora all day at work and watching youtube during break and lunch, wireless charging just trowing on there and it charges, the ultra saving power for those moments when u are in the middle of now where and have no way of getting to a charger, camera camera camera higher quality better pictures the camer on the iphone is like the camera on the first galaxy phone about 6years ago, water resistance drop it 3 times still running, all the little features on the galaxy win over the apple phones …. iphone does have one thing I do love about Iphone is that they have it in rosegold other than that

      • As I said, I’m not a iPhone fan. Although I will admit that the iPhone 6s plus will be there best ever. Now what the heck are you talking about. Do even really own any of the 2 phones you mentioned? If you do, go ahead and drop those phones in water since you think they are water resistance. And are you kidding me, Samsung finally put a decent camera in there phones just a year ago. Apple always had a way better camera than Samsung up to that point. The 8 megapixel in the iPhone blew away any 8 megapixel, 10 megapixel, 13 megapixel that Samsung ever used. I now own the Note5, I also owned the Note 2 and Note3. And other than the camera and screen my M8 is far superior to any of those phones. Then you said both phones battery last all day while using pandora or playing YouTube, lol. Those phones would be lucky to get 4 hours of battery using YouTube and pandora, C’mon man.
