The IFA 2016 is just around the corner so we’re anticipating a barrage of early announcements, if not leaks and rumors. We already know some companies are almost ready with their new products like Huawei, Lenovo, Samsung, and ASUS. We’re looking forward to the next ZenWatch because it’s going to be the first round smartwatch from the Taiwanese tech giant.

Nothing is certain and official yet but a teaser was posted by ASUS on its Twitter account with a reference to something incredible at the upcoming tech event happening in Berlin. The press announcement will happen on August 31, 2016 and we’re hoping more will be introduced like perhaps another ZenFone 3 variant, another ZenPad tablet, Chromebook, and maybe some update to the ZenUI launcher. A ZenPad 3S 10 was launched only last month so maybe another size will be made available.

The image could be a reference to the round ZenWatch 3. How come? Well, there’s the “round” earth there. Perhaps the sun will finally shine of a new ZenWatch.

The FCC document we saw last week tells us the device will have a stainless steel back, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity. Details are still scarce but we’re hoping this one will finally have LTE or celullar connectivity so it can be used for texting and calling even without a smartphone.
