BBM for Android available globally September 21st

This afternoon we finally have an official release date from Blackberry regarding their popular BBM for Android. After countless leaks, fakes in the Google Play Store, and more, they've just confirmed all the details this afternoon. BBM for Android will be available globally for everyone (no exclusives) starting September 21st in the Google Play Store, then launch for iOS on the 22nd.

eVGA Tegra NOTE 7 tablet announced, coming soon

This morning NVIDIA announced some pretty major news that they'll be supplying tons of manufacturers with an entire Android tablet platform. That being their often leaked 7-inch Tegra Tab. Instead though, this will be called the Tegra Note and sold from many 3rd party suppliers they use today in their GeForce PC lineup. eVGA, PNY, Zotac and more. We won't see watercooled tablets, but you can bet they'll still perform quite well.

GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience simulator revealed by Gameloft

For those of you who love a high speed and realistic racing experience, Gameloft has just announced the second release to their highly popular racing simulator for Android. Following the success of GT Racing, today we're learning details about the stunning looking new GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience, and they've dropped a neat video showing it off too.

HTC One Max leaked and compared to the Galaxy Note 3

The HTC One Max has leaked several times over the past few weeks, and at this point it's no secret that HTC has a massive device coming soon to compete with Samsung and others. The specs and 5.9-inch screen have all but been confirmed at this point, and today's leak is giving us a better idea of what to expect in a size comparison sitting next to the Galaxy Note II and the new Note 3.

NVIDIA Tegra Note tablet platform gets official for $199

The Android tablet market is about to get a massive shake up from the folks at NVIDIA. Many of you have probably seen the leaks of the NVIDIA Tegra Tab, and today we're getting all the details. They aren't selling it, instead they've built an entire platform around the Tegra 4 quad-core processor, and their partners like eVGA (from the PC space) will be selling impressive tablets starting at $199.

Nexus 7 WiFi JSS15R update rolling out, may fix touch issues

The new Nexus 7 has been in the news a lot this afternoon, but we have one more as it appears a small 8MB update is rolling out to the WiFi Nexus 7 as we speak. It's still the same version of Android, and there appears to be no major changes, but we're hearing this could still be an update aimed at fixing those touch issues.

Google’s AOSP leader Jean-Baptiste Queru hired by Yahoo

The entire Android community and Android Open Source Project (AOSP) has suffered a great loss this month, as the lead technical engineer known as Jean-Baptiste Queru left the team last month and has now been hired by Yahoo. We all know him as JBQ, who's done fine work managing Android's source code, but now he's no longer with Google.
