Firefox for Android has an alarming security issue. Developer Sebastian Guerrero Selma has successfully used Firefox to pull data from the storage of an Android device, as well as access the content of privately stored data within the browser.
It may have taken Verizon Wireless a bit longer to launch the HTC One, however it doesn't appear as if they are going to let the updates linger. In fact, Big Red has recently detailed a software update for the handset. This one is arriving as software version 1.10.605.10 and although this update is on the smaller side, given some of the items in the changelog, it does appear to be one that will be worth grabbing.

It looks like some details of the Sony Honami Mini have been leaked. This isn't the first time we have seen leaks dealing with this model, but this latest round is said to have come by way of Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo. Perhaps more important, this latest leak does have an image and some specs for the Sony Xperia Z1 f with model number SO-02F.
BlackBerry had been saying that BBM would arrive for Android users before the end of the summer. That launch was later confirmed to be September 21st, however as we saw -- that launch never happened. The 7AM launch time came and went and BlackBerry later confirmed the release plans were put on hold.
LG has had the Optimus G Pro smartphone available for a while now, however judging from this latest leak it is looking another G Pro handset is getting ready to launch. The handset is the LG G Pro Lite Dual and a few images as well as some details in terms of specs have recently been spotted on the Russian language Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru site. And to clarify, LG is expected to release the G Pro Lite Dual in Europe.
AT&T had previously opened pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3. Those who had moved forward with a pre-order for either of those devices can expect it to be shipped on October 1st. And coming by way of Twitter, AT&T has confirmed the in-store availability date for the Gear and Note 3.
