Those people familiar with Vysor will be happy to know that it has just received an important update. Master developer Koushik Dutta aka Koush, famous for CyanogenMod, CastReceiver, and ADB for Chrome among others, has announced on his Google+ page that Vysor now allows easier mirroring and controlling of one’s device even sans the USB cable and with the aspect ratio locked.

You will see a new button on the right. Click on it to mirror and control your Android device right on your computer.

Vysor

The developer describes Vysor as the “window to your Android”. You have to make sure that you download the app on both your smartphone and desktop computer for Vysor to work. It makes a convenient way to easily access and control your mobile device. It’s like making your computer “go wireless” to interact with your phone.

Before this update, the app was removed and then put back on the Play Store after talks of some licensing issue. That was months after the app was also updated with hardware keys and the remote access from desktop to Android was introduced. Most recently, we were introduced to the Vysor Share Server that lets us build our own Android device farm so we’re excited to see how Vysor will manage.
