Samsung is determined to rise from the ashes. Well, the company isn’t going down yet and we don’t think it will anytime soon. It has many other businesses to keep it afloat and its execs are already hard at work, thinking of new ways to make the consumers interested. It’s said to be shifting its marketing strategies by launching only one flagship phone each year starting with the Galaxy S8 in 2017.
The South Korean tech giant has also introduced six new C-Lab projects, hoping at least one will make it big and probably become a cash cow. There’s also the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge that looks pretty as a mermaid.
When it comes to the Galaxy S8, we already heard the idea that it will show significant hardware changes like maybe dual lens cameras, iris scanner, 4K display, and some 8GB RAM.
Samsung is hopeful about the Galaxy S8 . Rumor has it that phone will feature an almost bezel-less edge-to-edge OLED display. There’s no confirmation yet but we won’t be surprised if this is the case because Samsung has been working on the tech that will make a really full edge-to-edge display possible on a smartphone. In the near future, the 80 percent screen-to-body ratio may become 90% and then up to 99 percent.
Shown off at the iMiD 2016 exhibition in Seoul is a special full-screen OLED display by Samsung. The display is also said to allow sensors to be placed just under the screen.
