We once thought Samsung would unveil the Galaxy M Series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2019) but then we realized that is reserved for the 10th Anniversary premium flagship Galaxy S10. Well, Samsung will make the announcement earlier at an Unpacked event but we know the S10 will be a hot topic and will be compared with other flagships. The South Korean tech giant has recently made an official announcement in India that promotes the Galaxy M. The new Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 are finally launched after being benchmarked and leaked early.

A Samsung Galaxy M phone was sighted on Geekbench back in November. We even told you what to expect and what we knew then. Samsung Galaxy M30 specs were detailed before which indicated the series was coming soon.

Samsung has finally introduced the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 (no Galaxy M30 yet) in India. The ‘M’ phones are meant for the Millenials that want power in their phones. These are mid-range smartphones part of the ‘Make for India’ campaign.

You see, Samsung has a strong market in India that it has to roll out exclusive products that will make people want more from the brand. Samsung wants to keep on building its name in the country where the mobile market is growing bigger at a faster rate.

Both phones, the Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, are aimed to help improve the lives of mobile consumers in India. Samsung has been providing products and innovations that have been helpful to the people.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 has a slightly bigger 6.3-inch FHD+ screen while the Galaxy M10 features a 6.2-inch HD+ screen. The two use an Infinity-V display so expect a notched design.

The phones are said to arrive with Widevine L1 certification so HD streaming is possible. The large 5000mAh battery in the Galaxy M20 is impressive and is being optimized by a power management feature. If that’s not enough, the 15W charger promises 3X fast charging.

Othe specs of the Galaxy M20 are as follows: Exynos 7904 octa-core chipset, fingerprint reader, Face Unlock, dual rear 13MP (F1.9) + 5MP ultra-wide cameras, low-aperture lenses, live focus portrait, memory card slot for storage expansion (up to 512GB), dual SIM VoLTE support, and Samsung Experience version 9.5 UX. Pricing starts at ₹10,990 (about $155).

Samsung Galaxy M10 Features

The Galaxy M10 boasts an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, 3400mAh battery, face recognition unlock feature, and the other features also available on the Galaxy M20. Price tag reads ₹7,990 ($113).
