Motorola is busy prepping the Moto Z Play for commercial release. We’re still waiting for that official announcement and so far, we’ve seen a few images already after several leaks and a visit to TENAA. We want to know if this one will still have that headphone jack or if the specs listed on AnTuTu are true. We know it’s going to launch very soon as tests in India could already be over.
Someone posted a couple of images of the Moto Z Play with a glass back panel in black and another on in white. They look similar to the images leaked last month. No doubt this is how the Moto Z Play looks like (but of course, most Moto phones look the same).
Not much information have been shared but we know Lenovo and Motorola are working hard on the Moto Z family. We already looked into how Motorola developed the Moto Mods and the Moto Z. So far, here are the specs and features that we know: 5.5-inch screen, 1080p display resolution, 16MP rear camera, 4K video recording, 5MP selfie cam, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB onboard storage, 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (Cortex-A53 CPU), and 3510 mAh battery. Phone is expect to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Moto Z Play will arrive with Moto Mods. We’re hoping this smartphone will be another game changer with its slightly “modular” design.
