We’re anticipating the LG V20’s debut this September 6 in San Francisco. We want to know what kind of “Friends” it will bring. We heard it will have a lower resolution compared to the V10 and that it will be the first non-Nexus Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone. We expect to hear more information especially as the launch date draws nearer.
LG has been quiet about the V20 but we know some images will be leaked. If not leaked, fans will make their own renders. But when it comes to exclusive leaks, trust @OnLeaks, master leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer for information that always turn out to be true. He’s got image renders of the upcoming LG V20, as well as, more details about the phone’s features and specs.
The LG V20 is said to boast a modular design like the LG G5. However, we have no idea how “modular” this one is. We just know that some LG Friends can be used with the phone. Looking at the images, we can say there’s a similar module release button on the right side plus the bottom lip which appears to be removable, perhaps for the LG Cam Plus.
The LG V20 still has the familiar V10 design but it seems to be narrower. Instead of the another camera lens at the back for the dual camera system, it’s already at the front. The phone has a thicker area–at the top–which could be because of the secondary display. The volume keys are now on the left while the power button is still on the rear. We’re hoping the fingerprint sensor is embedded there.
We don’t know much about the specs but it could have a 5.5- to 5.7-inch Quad HD display screen, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset, dual-camera system, USB Type-C, and a battery hopefully bigger than the previous 3000mAh batt.
