A few days before the April 28 unveiling, LG continues to give us hints by releasing video teasers. It’s been confirmed that the newest LG flagship phone will have a genuine leather back based on the official invite. Before all these, we’ve seen several leaked photos, front and side views, and some information that it will be radically different and will probably be the last “G” phone.
In South Korea, LG will start offering the G4 from the day of launch until May 31. Those who will pre-order within this period will receive a free 64GB memory card and a one-time LCD screen replacement up to one year after the date of purchase. This promo will be available to everyone who buys the LG G4 regardless of the mobile carrier.
We have yet to see the full list of specifications but there are numerous sources saying that the LG G4 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display panel, a 16-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 lens by LG Innotek, optical image stabilization, dual flash, the recently launched UX 4.0, and a 3,000mAh battery. The leather back is no longer a rumor but we’re not sure if it’s removable or actually permanent. Offer is exclusive to South Korea only and on the three mobile carriers in the country: SK Telecom, KT, and of course, LG Uplus.
Special deals including an LG G Watch will also be offered. Early adopters will be delighted to know that the LG G4 will also be available in a multitude of colors and not the just the rustic brown version we’ve been seeing in photos lately.
