There is no new premium flagship phone from Huawei yet so the Mate 20 Pro remains as its latest high-specced offering. Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are all about the cameras and 3D features as they also bring 3D Live Object and 3D Live Emoji. The Pro variant arrives with super fast and convenient Qi-standard wireless charging. Sadly for some unit owners, theirs arrived with faulty green screens. Good thing they can be replaced. A teardown has revealed device is modular but requires a lot of disassemblies.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro may have low repairability but we think it is worth the high price tag. It was named as one of the Top 10 Global Best Performing Android Phones last year for many reasons.
The series isn’t rolling out in the United States but the company still continues to sell the phone in several key markets. In its native country China, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is ready for purchase on Vmall. We see two new colors available: Fragrant Red and Comet Blue.
The variant listed on the website comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage so it is the premium model. The phone goes for ¥ 6799.00 CNY which is about $994 in the US.
