Google Now will soon be dead but it’s being replaced by the Google Assistant. As early as 2012, we already knew about this idea which then became Google Now. A few months ago, the term has once again popped during the early days of the Swordfish Android Wear smartwatches. It’s official already and we even know it will have Hindu language support.
We’ve been saying that it can be your personal Google as it is makes use of more natural language AI. This new service will be available on Android 7.0 Nougat initially but as you know, anything Android can be modified. An XDA member shared that Google Assistant can be ported to the Nexus 6P. It’s an unofficial procedure but something developers expected after the system images of the Pixel were released. If you know how to, you can just access build.prop and install the latest Google App (Velvet).
That’s just one way but you can also enable Google Assistant on your smartphone that runs Android 7.0. You can enable the feature on the following devices: Google Nexus 6P (stock), Nexus 6P, Google Nexus 6 (OctoOS), Nexus 5 | AOSP 7.0 by Santhosh M | BOKROM, Nexus 4, Pixel C, Moto G (2013,) Moto G (2015), and OnePlus (CM14).
Here are ways on how to enable Google Assistant:
1. Manual editing. On the build.prop, add these lines on the code:
ro.product.model=Pixel XL
ro.opa.eligible_device=true
2: Flash the following files

On Android Marshmallow, Google Assistant can be enabled with the updated N-ify Xposed Module. This mod brings Nougat to older Android version which can also mean Google can access Google Assistant even on Android 6.0.
Hindu is not a language. A Hindu is a person who follows the religion of Hinduism.
The correct word would be Hindi, which is a language.
Let me get this straight. My Nexus 4 can run the new Google Assistant? Can this be made distantly?
