The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge has finally arrived. After all the stress tests and numerous drop tests, Samsung has proven that the Galaxy S6 edge is one durable smartphone. We’re expecting more good news to come the S6 edge’s way including the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop which we previewed last February both the smartphone and the Galaxy Tab S version. The sweet Lollipop update to the dual-edged flagship phone includes minor updates to the manufacturer’s proprietary apps like the S Planner, photo editor, and the TouchWiz ecosystem.
Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is only 250MB so make sure you have enough memory before installing this version. Not much details have been provided but this should fix some bugs and errors previously experienced in the last Android Lollipop software update.
There are other mobile devices that have received the same Android 5.0.2 recently. So far, we know the Moto E, and Moto 4 will receive it soon while the Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and Moto X have it already. We noted a few days ago that even the Sony Z series will get the Android 5.0.2 starting this week.
Note that this update is different from the Android 5.1 already released for some of the latest Android mobile devices.
