The South Korean tech giant recently introduced a new color variant of the Galaxy S8+. In Taiwan, Samsung is releasing a Rose Pink version of the bigger Galaxy S phone. No change in the specs has been made, only the color. We have no idea if the Galaxy S8 will also have a pink version but we’re crossing our fingers the company will make a similar announcement soon.
At the moment, the rose pink Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be out exclusively in Taiwan but we’re expecting that other countries and region will also receive it for the female market. Hopefully, we’ll receive good news in the coming weeks just before the new Galaxy Note 8 is revealed.
This isn’t the first time Samsung is rolling out pink smartphones. The first one we remember was the pink makeover for the Galaxy S II. There’s also the Berry Pink Galaxy Note, pink Galaxy S III, pink Samsung Galaxy S5, and the Pink Gold Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
Samsung’s Rose Pink variant of the Galaxy S8+ still boasts of the same 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Infinity Display, 2960 x 1440 pixel resolution, 64GB storage, 8MP front-facing cam, 12MP rear camera, Octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3500mAh battery. The Rose Pink Galaxy S8+ will be released in Taiwan with a TW 27,900 price tag which is about $906 in the US.
