The Asus ZenFone 3 and its Deluxe version were first sighted on the Red Dot 21 Design website earlier this year. The new ZenFone flagship series was unveiled at the Computex after showing up on GFXBench. And then the Deluxe arrived with the new Snapdragon 821 processor and a spacious 256GB storage. The latter was made available in Taiwan initially but now we’ve got news both the ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 3 Deluxe are on Amazon.
Yes, the two ZenFone 3 variants are now listed on the e-commerce website. The Laser is the more affordable one at $206.95 while the Deluxe model is $530.48. Amazon didn’t indicate shipment date but noted there is that item “usually ships within 2 to 5 weeks” so that’s safe, at least. The ZenFone 3 Laser isn’t a premium variant but it’s impressive with its imaging system that includes a dual camera system with 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing cam, 0.03 Laser focus, optical image stabilizer (OIS), and electronic image stabilizer (EIS). Other specs include a 5.5-inch screen, IPS FHD display, 1080 X 1920 resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon S430 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, and a micrSD card slot. Amazon sells the phone with ASUS 1-year Accidental Damage Protection as warranty in the United States.
Meanwhile, the higher-specced ZenFone 3 Deluxe boasts of a bigger 5.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD display, 1920 X 1080 pixel resolution, 23MP and 8MP dual camera system, 6GB RAM, 64GB built-on storage, microSD card slot, Qualcomm Snapdragon S820 processor, and USB Type-C 3.0.
