LG plans on capturing a larger percentage of the mobile market but it’s a bit challenging especially if it has Samsung for a rival especially in their native South Korea. Well, LG is still in the business and is determined to join the mobile accessories industry by coming up with special covers and cases for smartphones, Bluetooth headsets, and now this, a full-size portable keyboard.

The South Korean tech company will be revealing a rollable wireless portable keyboard next week at the IFA 2015 in Berlin. It’s not the first portable keyboard ever launched though. We’ve already seen the ZAGG Keys, that portable keyboard from Microsoft, Logitech Keys-To-Go Ultra-Portable keyboard, and the Jorno portable keyboard. But this Rolly Keyboard here is the first rollable portable keyboard ideal for your smartphone or tablet. Most keyboards can be folded into two but this folds up along four rows. The result is a stick-like figure that you can put inside your pocket, bag, or laptop case.

This fold-out keyboard offers comfortable typing because it’s almost full-size, just like any ordinary laptop or desktop keyboard. The keyboard also features arms that fold out to hold a tablet or smartphone. There’s Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity to connect devices. Keyboard is made of durable and impact-resistant polycarbonate and ABS plastic and is powered by just one AAA battery.

LG will be showing off the Rolly Keyboard in Berlin together with a slew of products we don’t know yet. We’re guessing we’ll see more of that 10-inch G Pad II, new smartwatch, portable speakers, or the LG Nexus (2015). Keyboard will be available in the US next month and will soon be ready in Asia, Latin America, and Europe in the last quarter of the year. No word on pricing yet but LG will release more details at the IFA.
