MapMyFitness hits v3.0 with a new look and new features

The MapMyFitness version 3.0 update has recently landed in the Google Play Store. This update has the app sitting at v3.0.3 with a new look and new features. In fact, the team behind the app is touting this as one that brings a "complete app redesign with a new workout recording experience."

Google Now begins offering bill reminders

Some new functionality is coming to Google Now. This latest deals with your bills, and quite simply, Google Now is now able to offer bill reminders. Similar to some of the other Google Now functionality -- this is going to be pulling the information from your Gmail messages.

AT&T HD Voice service launching in select markets on May 23

AT&T will be flipping the switch for High Definition (HD) Voice service a bit later in the month. The service will go live in select markets beginning on May 23, 2014 and be on an all-IP Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) network. The markets will be spread across Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Xiaomi MiPad arrives powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra K1

Xiaomi has recently unveiled its first tablet, which also happens to be the first introduced with the NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor. The tablet is the MiPad and it is running Android 4.4 (with the MIUI user interface) and sporting looks similar to the iPad mini. The tablet is fairly low priced, however it doesn't appear as if there will be a widespread global release.

LifeLogger camera hits Kickstarter with promise of point-of-view capture

We've seen plenty about Google Glass lately, and one of the features of the Google wearable is the ability to quickly capture images and video from your point of view. There is plenty more going on with Glass, however a new Kickstarter project appears aimed at those who are only looking for image (and video) capture. The project is the LifeLogger and the funding campaign has just gotten underway.
