Motorola Charm Could be the Motorola Basil

The square faced QWERTY Motorola Charm is in fact going to T-Mobile, a fact learned yesterday. Not only that, but the Charm will most likely get its name changed to Basil. Ealier this month info. about a name change was leaked via T-Mobile Calendar. A picture showing the name change has been released, solidifying the evidence of the name change.

Samsung Vibrant officially announced for T-Mobile

Just recently, the Samsung Epic 4G was announced for Sprint, now we're revealing the Vibrant for T-Mobile USA. The most noticeable difference is the lack of a physical keyboard that the Epic 4G had, other than that the looks are pretty much the same. The Vibrant essentially took the best features of the Samsung Galaxy S gave it a new name and put it on a different market, T-Mobile is set to release the new smartphone.

Huawei’s Android 2.2 Device Spoted in the Wild

Huawei has been planning on moving into own-brand phones, they're trying to end the practice of making phones for different people. They want to start taking credit of its own work instead of simply making phones for others such as T-Mobile. Four Android Phones to be offered by US Cellular in 2010

Four phones are planned to be brought to customers throughout the year. This will start off next year with the Samsung Acclaim. The first phone, the slide phone QWERTY will come out July 9th, shortly followed by the HTC Desire. The devices and manufacturers for the other two is yet to be decided by US Cellular.

HTC EVO 4G to receive Android 2.2 in near future

It has been confirmed by Spring that an update for the HTC EVO 4G is currently being worked on. The update will for the WiMAX-capable smartphone will receive the Android 2.2 Froyo, heard in rumours earlier this week. This update will give the EVO flash support on its browser, Bluetooth voice dialing, an improvement on Exchange ActiveSync support, similar to other devices with Android 2.2.
