Verizon’s bold move it looks as it Amazon may be considering to launch it’s on App store on Android devices. To compete with Google’s own, and Verizon’s VCAST app store the Amazon app store will offer some perks to developers as well. The online retailer will allegedly pay a royalty “equal to the greater of 70 percent of the purchase price or 20 percent of the List Price.” This “List Price” is said to help protect Amazon against the developers offering their apps for cheaper on the other markets.
Motorola announced it’s upcoming ultra durable phone, the Defy. The device is advertised as “designed to handle everything that life throws your way” and is looking very durable, but how durable is it really? Well the fine folks over at Expansys decided to give it a few tests to see if it could handle what they threw it’s way, the result: it did.
available for Pre-Order last week, and is shipping soon, will not be supporting tethering at launch. Many of us know that stock Android 2.2 does in fact support tethering right off the bat. However, 2.2 on the G2 will not due to T-Mobile simply not supporting it as of this time.
