WhatsApp has got to be one of the more popular instant messaging apps on Android today. Millions of people not just in the United States but all over the world use WhatsApp. The number of users even went up after Facebook acquired the company early last year for $19 billion. Facebook said nothing would change for WhatsApp users but you know that the CEO promised calling features and privacy settings have been updated.
Nothing much may have changed but the app faced some security issues recently. But that doesn’t mean the WhatsApp team will stop working on improving the messaging app and especially if Facebook believes messaging is the way to profit. And earlier this week, a new startup has announced WhatSim–a special SIM that offers free, unlimited chat over the popular messaging system. This seems like a bit unusual because you’d think it’s not necessary but apparently, there are people who still think you need a special Sim card for that.
WhatSim automatically connects to more than 400 network operators in 150 countries. It looks for the best coverage and signal so you can stay connected all the time with other WhatsApp users anywhere in the world. This worldwide data connection allows unlimited chat over WhatsApp to anyone, thanks to a low-cost roaming solution.
WhatSim costs only €10 (but €5 in some countries) and this already allows free chat for one year. It won’t expire and it doesn’t require any monthly fees. We’re still not sure how WhatSim can be so affordable but this one is very much welcome.

How the hell is this related to the post?
Whatsim give only text chat for free for the first year (which is included in the price of the sim card), after which you have to renew (I guess it’s going to be 5 euros per year), picture, video and voice sharing are paid features. Whatsapp generates a pretty small text traffic which is covered by their sim sales and recharge revenues.
where or how do you buy one?
