Umi may not be a household name when it comes to Android phones but we’ve featured the brand a few times already. It showed off the Yotaphone 2-like Dual-screen phone with E-ink display last year in the form of the Zero 2. The two were really very similar. This time, UMI is launching the Plus E phone as the first Helio P20 6GB RAM phone. It’s an obvious follow-up to the UMi Plus but now made more powerful with the new processor, higher RAM, bigger onboard storage, and larger 4000mAh battery.

The specs are premium but believe it or not, it’s only considered as a budget flagship. Device comes equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD screen display made by Sharp, 4000mAh batt with PE and Quick Charging support, 64GB storage, 6GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing cam, and an aerospace class aluminium build. The processor is a 2.3GHz Helio P20 by Mediatek.

UMi Plus E is available for $199.99 but only as a pre-sales promo rate. Original price will be $269.99 which is still very affordable. It’s almost ready to ship from China to anywhere in the world. You can pre-order for one starting tomorrow, Friday, November 11. Feel free to check out this page and send your pre-order once it opens.

  1. I wish this news will tell you with which major carriers this phone was compatible with. Or at least report the compatible bands. I Feel that’s equally important in a phone as what kind of SoC it uses.
