Honestly, we don’t care much about screen recording but many people we know find the feature useful for several geeky reasons. Some apps we know that offers screen recording include AirDroid and the ADV Screen Recorder. Meanwhile, it’s already a native feature in Lollipop and CyanogenMod although limited. Another useful app is the Screen Recording and Mirror app which was recently updated.
The special app has been updated and is now live on the Play Store. It doesn’t require any rooting for mobile devices powered by Android 5.0 and above. What it does is support recording to video and GIF. It also allows mirroring of images to Apple TV, Fire TV, Chrome, and AllCast Receivers on Android and Chrome.
The app may still be buggy but the devs are still working on the fixes and enhancements. You may also notice the new redesign so navigation is easier. Just feel free to record your Android screen and save it as an ordinary video file. It will be useful for demos and future references. As for the mirroring function, you can screencast your Android phone to any Apple TV, Chrome, Fire TV, and even another Android device.
