After several failed attempts, Saygus is still determined to released the V2. First introduced at the International CES in Las Vegas earlier in January, the smartphone was quickly listed for pre-order the same month. We don’t know what happened since then but the project was spotted on Indiegogo last week.
That one seems like a good idea that the fund goal of $1 million has finally been reached, still with less than a month before deadline on Indiegogo. Saygus is just a startup but it’s serious with impressing the mobile industry after a few years with the V2 (V Squared). With numerous smartphones and other mobile devices in the market today, it can be quite a challenge for small companies like Saygus to make a name but the V2 is projected to be a super smartphone.
Being a CES Innovation Award Honoree this year in the Wireless Handset category, the Saygus V2 is expected to wow us with its special functionalities and high specs: IPX7 waterproofing, 4K shooting capability, 464GB storage capacity, wireless HD beaming, 3D audio experience courtesy of Harman Kardon, Qualcomm 2.5 Ghz Quad Core Snapdragon 801 processor, and 3100 mAh Amprius Removable Battery among others.
The Saygus V2 seems very promising but the team behind it keeps on changing development plans. We’re hoping being on Indiegogo will finally bring the phone into production and soon, a reality. It really has big potential but what consumers need is to see and hold an actual Saygus V2 phone.
Saygus’ recent appearance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) may have finally helped the company. It’s been showing off the V2 to the participants, as well as, answering questions sent via Twitter. This time, Saygus is being aggressive in marketing and showcasing the goods and looks like they are more than ready.
Saygus has also released several videos that give us more details about the V2 smartphone. So far, we know that smartphone also boasts of a user-replaceable battery, two microSD cards (64GB + 400GB), dual SIM card support, dual front-facing speakers, fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging. Other specs include a 21MP OIS main camera, 13MP OIS front-facing camera, 5-inch 1080p display screen, 60GHz WiHD transmitter, fractal antenna technology, and Android 5.0 Lollipop already running out of the box.
