More fluffly Android Marshmallow updates are coming our way. The next gadget to receive the latest Android version is the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 in the United Kingdom. This is already Android 6.0.1 for the SM-T710 model in the UK. The version of the firmware is T710XXU2CPD9 that includes the April security path for the Galaxy Tab S2.
Over-the-Air (OTA) notifications should be pushed anytime in the next few days but for the impatient ones, you can always check manually. You know the drill: go to Settings> About device> Software update. The Galaxy Tab device should show the latest version or if an update is ready for download.
The Android 6.0.1 firmware update delivers numerous enhancements and new features like Google Now on Tap, changes in app permission, 200 new emojis, updated user interface, multi-user mode, and lock screen shortcuts than can be customized. This one also brings support for the Nexus Imprint APIs to allow faster unlocking of fingerprints.
