We’re taking things with a pinch of salt but the next Galaxy A phone could be available in the near future. The Samsung Galaxy A series has been around since 2015 and we’ve seen a number of models in the past years. In Samsung’s attempt to improve its marketing strategy, the company decided to maintain the Galaxy M and Galaxy A series and let go of the Galaxy J phones. Some series details were leaked a few months ago but the latest Galaxy A8s made an impression especially when it was announced earlier this month.
The Samsung Galaxy A8s was introduced with a cutout-display/hole-screen–similar to the Huawei Nova 4 and the recently launched Honor View20.
The next Galaxy A phone will be the Galaxy A10. It will be another special model because it will be the first to have UDFS (under-display fingerprint sensor). A single tweet has given us this hint:
Galaxy A10,UDFS.

The Samsung Galaxy A10 will finally implement an on-screen fingerprint display. It’s not the first in the industry because Vivo already uses such technology last year. The Vivo X20Plus UD debuted as the first phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
We won’t be surprised if the Samsung Galaxy A10 will have the said technology because it’s somehow a testing ground for the South Korean tech giant. The Galaxy A8s has the camera cutout and the Galaxy A10 having the under-display fingerprint sensor is a first step towards the same tech being implemented on the Galaxy S10.
