Pebble Time may have been ready since May at distribution centers and pre-orders at Best Buy last June but some people are still waiting for the Steel version. The new Pebble Time is already available in US and finally, fans who’ve been waiting for the Steel variant can now reserve theirs.
Kickstarter backers are the first to receive their orders and soon, those who have sent in their pre-orders on the startup’s official website and on Best Buy will get their new Pebble–sometime next month. The Time Steel will come with a genuine Italian leather band as a standard. If you want steel bands instead, you can get extra staps in Gold, Brushed silver, or Gunmetal black matter for only $49.99 but you have to wait until later this 2015.
The basic Pebble Time may be cheaper at $199 but the Time Steel version looks more “serious” and very stylish. The stainless steel chassis makes it more attractive. As with any other smartwatch models, you can manage notifications, play music, track health and fitness activities, navigate around town, and accept incoming calls using the Pebble Time Steel.
To review, the Pebble Time smartwatch features a color E-Paper display screen, durable glass lens, curved ergonomic design, and a 10-day battery life. The Pebble Time is also water-resistant up to 30 meters and comes with thousands of watchapps and watchfaces for you to enjoy.
