A lot of you OnePlus fans have been inundated by leaks and rumors of what the upcoming OnePlus 3 might look like, but this info makes it sort of official. The new OnePlus flagship has shown up at China’s TENAA (their FCC equivalent), so we basically know how the new smartphone will look like. Ready?
In the end, it’s really not as far from the leaked images as we thought it would be. The images of the OnePlus A3000 were pretty spot on – the metal finish, the very HTC-like design, the camera module with flash at the back. See the image below, because this will most likely be how you will see the OnePlus 3.
The TENAA document also gives us some insight into the specs. The phone – at least the China market version – will have a 5.5-inch FullHD (1080p) display, a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, a 16MP/8MP camera combo, and a 3,000mAh battery. Also, the new flagship will offer Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Not bad, but not really that exciting as well. OnePlus is going to have to up their game if they want this model to sell like hotcakes come day of launch.
