The Chinese OEM LeTV was rebranded as LeEco earlier this year. It made some noise last may when it ditched the headphone jack and launched new devices with CDLA. Well, removing the headphone jack seems to be a new and accepted thing now especially since Apple announced the iPhone 7. It also seems the company is all set to launch big in the United States this Fall.

Just last month, LeEco announced the Cool1 Dual as a new mid-range smartphone. This time and after several rumors, the company is announcing the Le Pro 3–another budget-friendly phone loaded with premium specs.

The LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, 6GB RAM, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and a huge 4070mAh battery. These specs are high for a low-cost Android smartphone but the Chinese company seems to be serious in setting up shop and being known in the US. Like the other LeEco phones, the Moto Z, and the iPhone Z, the headphone jack is gone.

Phone takes advantage of the brand’s very own Continual Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) technology. There’s also the Type-C earbuds and USB Type-C port that’s slowly becoming a standard. Other specs of the device include a 5.5-inch FHD display, 2.5D glass, 16MP camera (with PDAF, LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture), 8MP wide-angle front-facing cam, and the 4070mAh battery. The Le Eco 3 boasts of Quick Charge 3.0 so you can have extra power in within a few minutes.

LeEco uses the eUI 5.8 on top of Android Marshmallow. Pricing starts at $270 (1999 Yuan) for the 32GB/4GB RAM while the bigger 64GB/6GB RAM variant will be $299 (1999 Yuan). A 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB version will also be available for $375 and $450, respectively.
