HTC isn’t only working on the Desire 10 Pro and the Desire 10 Lifestyle. The Taiwanese OEM has been busy prepping the One A9s which is an improved version of the HTC One A9 that was introduced last year. We somehow expected a ‘One A10’ but the company may have thought it’s best to just add an ‘s’ to the name.

The HTC One A9s is a budget-friendly device bearing the brand’s iconic design. It’s a mid-range phone but looks premium with the dual-finish metal body. It comes with a 5-inch screen, HD display, ultra-fast fingerprint sensor, 5MP selfie camera, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Octa-core MediaTekTM Helio P10 processor, 16GB or 32GB built-in storage, 2GB or 3GB RAM, microSD card slot for expansion (2TB maximum), Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, NFC, and 4G LTE connectivity. Battery is only 2300mAh but already supports Fast charging.

When it comes to imaging, the device features several modes like Pro mode with manual control and 12-bit, Hyperlapse, Zoe capture, Panorama mode, and Continuous shooting. You can shoot in RAW and record videos in Full HD 1080p resolution. As with most HTC phones, this one also features the HTC Boost+ suite of tools that enhance performance, privacy, and security. There’s the HTC BoomSound audio technology plus HTC Sense on top of Android.

No information on pricing and availability yet but hopefully, it will be offered with a promotional pricing just like last year. Phone may be offered with a really friendly price–anything below $150.
