The HTC 10 is out. The company even surprised us by launching a lower-specced variant in the form of the HTC 10 Lifestyle. The latter will be available in other markets donning a lower Snapdragon 652 chipset and 3GB RAM only. The Taiwanese phone maker has rolled out the smartphone in China, hoping there will be an audience but unfortunately, sales are very slow.
HTC only opened pre-order for the HTC 10 Lifestyle in China but people don’t seem to be interested. Jingdong Mal and TMall made the phone available for purchase last April 25 but from that day until today, only 251 orders for the smartphone have been placed. HTC didn’t share this news officially but there are talks going around that the new HTC flagship phone isn’t as attractive especially since the lower variant, the HTC 10 Lifestyle is the one being made available and not the premium HTC 10. HTC may have under estimated the Chinese mobile market and so now the company has to live with its decisions.
The HTC 10 Lifestyle isn’t low end because the specs are still impressive. The price is still high at at $584. That is about 3799 Chinese yuan–still expensive. We don’t know exactly what the Chinese don’t like about the HTC 10 or HTC 10 Lifestyle but we all know there are far more better choices in this emerging market. (No need to enumerate them but there’s too many…)
It’s almost a month since HTC 10 was formally announced. It’s a worthy reboot of the One M7, only has IP53 certification, with hi-res audio and image quality, and that it already has TWRP custom recovery. To review, the HTC 10 was unveiled first in Taipei, London, and New York. Specs include a 5.2-inch HD Super LCD 5 screen, Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 12 UltraPixel rear camera, and a 3000mAH battery. The Chinese variant only comes with a Snapdragon 652 and 3GB RAM while the rest of the specs are the same.
Pre-order is still open in China. HTC still has until the 8th of May to attract potential consumers. Official sales will start May 9 but we’re worried if and when HTC will sell more. We’ll see, we’ll see.

I think HTC is making the same mistakes over and over , not much or no commercials out there nine zero . I look ever where I see a P9 or a S7 or a iPhone adds HTC do nothing like that .
