When we hear HiSense, we usually think of big TVs that are affordable. That is true but the brand also offers smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. The last one we featured was the H9E Plus ULED K Smart TV that launched in June. 4K Android TVs were also announced during last year’s CES while several Hisense phones have been introduced over the years. The next product from the company is this HiSense U30 phone. We thought of ignoring this one but the U30 comes with the new camera hole display.
There aren’t many brands that implement the cutout screen for the selfie camera yet so we’re still interested in what companies will show off such this early. The HiSense U30 will join the Samsung Galaxy A8s, Huawei Nova 4, Honor View20, and the rumored Nokia 8.1 Plus.
The HiSense U30 is being shown off in Las Vegas at the CES this week. There’s no leak or teaser about the phone but the fact that it’s ready at the tech event gives us confidence about the future success of the phone.
The specs of the HiSense U30 phone are as follows: 6.30-inch FHD+ O-Infinity Display, 4500mAh battery, AI Expert, 20MP selfie shooter, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, and a 48+5MP dual camera. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie at launch. Expect the same Quick Charge 4, fingerprint scanning, and face unlock.
