The Essential Phone Black Moon 128GB have gotten another price cut on Amazon but that doesn’t mean the OEM is going anytime soon. It’s not giving up. We know for certain a 2nd-gen smartphone will be revealed in the second half of the year. The follow-up model is expected to have a better camera and will run Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box already. The latest Oreo update has rolled out recently but we’re assuming another round will be released in the coming months. The next model may no longer have a notch so we’re curious how the bezels will be trimmed down further.
The company is finally opening the Essential website so anyone can order online. If you live in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, and France, you can place your order for the Essential PH-1. Choose whatever color you like whether Halo Gray, Ocean Depths, or Black Moon or whether with 64GB or 128GB onboard storage.
Essential may be experiencing some setbacks but it will remain in the business. IDC already confirmed it–Essential Phone failed to sell. What we like about the Essential Team, though, is that it’s not giving up. Like OnePlus, it’s never settling for what’s happening. There is hope so if you believe Andy Rubin’s new baby still has what it takes to succeed, we suggest you buy the Android phone. Read the details carefully here first.
Starting today, we’re opening the https://t.co/5XqZeQu9cW store to orders from more countries, including Canada, France, Japan and UK. Special terms and conditions apply to these orders, so please read the information carefully: https://t.co/uZK8sLvUA5 pic.twitter.com/QXEWf8OEnE
