Electronic Arts is still banking on Plants vs Zombies to bring in money. Why wouldn’t it since the mobile game is still popular although nothing compared to when it first came out. The Plants vs Zombies 2 was released October last year and has since received numerous updates. It introduced new map mechanics, brought back the big bad Zomboss, and released a Far Future expansion. A couple of months ago, new worlds, levels, and zombies have been added too.
So what’s new in this update? EA has added four fresh plants, six new zombies, high and low tides, Bowling Bulb challenges, and a limited-time premium plant known as Ghost Pepper. With this version, you can dress plants up or down with The Cosume Changer feature. And since Halloween is coming, you can wear Halloween Piñata Party costumes starting next week October 24.
This Plants vs Zombies 2 update includes the Big Wave Beach Part 1 and 16 new levels. As usual, you can meet new plants that can defend your lawn, fight new zombies, supercharge floral friends with Plant Food, and freeze or zap zombies with your Finger Powers. Zombie-zapping skills will be tested as you try to defeat the challenges. Of course, you will have to collect more coins to buy power-ups and connect to Game Services to be able to compete with friends online and unlock achievements. And yes, you can still grow a Zen Garden to reap some rewards.
