Nokia is still alive. Its mobile business may be suffering but the brand which has moved from Microsoft to HMD is serious in bringing Nokia smartphones back. We’re looking forward to that D1C device sighted on AnTuTu and Geekbench running Android 7.0 Nougat. It appears the brand wants to venture into the wearable game as well by launching its own smartwatch.
No need to look for clues and wait for rumors as Nokia already showed off a smartwatch called the Moonraker. Actually, this device was made for the Lumia series but launch didn’t push through. The device is just floating but we’re hoping Nokia releases it soon but with some major enhancements.
A hands-on video featuring the Nokia Moonraker was discovered. It’s only a leak but we’re glad to have seen it. At least, we know what the company has been working on the past few years. You see, Nokia is just sitting quietly in the background but it has got some great ideas. This Moonraker is one perfect example and we think it has a potential. Based on the video, we can say it features a nice design with Swipe-navigation UI, missed call notification, tracking, and Facebook access.
We don’t think the Moonraker will ever make it to the market anytime soon but whatever features or functions it had, we’re guessing we can find them on Withings products.
