Cricket Wireless has recently introduced a pair of new affordable smartphones. Both are powered by Android that are ideal for those looking for entry-level and budget-friendly phones. Choose from either the new LG x power or the Alcatel Streak. We’re only familiar with the LG x power and are about to get to know the Alcatel Streak.
The LG x power was officially announced a couple of months ago. It has reached a number of key markets already like Canada and Ukraine. To review, the phone comes equipped with a 5.3-inch display screen, 1280×720 resolution, 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 quad core chipset, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, and a 4100mAh battery.
There’s also the Alcatel Streak which follows several devices from the company. We’ve seen the Alcatel TRU, IDOL 4, Dawn, and One Touch IDOL 3 recently and now this ‘Streak’. Specs include a 4.5-inch display, 1.1GHz quad-core chipset, 4G LTE connectivity, 5MP rear camera, 2MP selfie cam, and a 1780 mAh batter y. Phone already includes the Polaroid capture and photo editing software and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Storage is expandable as well because the 16GB space may not be enough.
The LG X power will be available from Cricket for only $159.99 plus tax and a smartphone plan. You can also avail of it less for only $129.99 plus tax activation.
