Exactly a week from now, HTC will be unveiling its latest premium flagship that is expected not only to rival the Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge, LG G5, and the Sony Xperia X, but also to finally help regain its place in the mobile industry. We’ve been saying that HTC has been going down the past year and we’re still not losing hope. We remain positive that the Taiwanese phone manufacturer can make another bestseller. This 2016, one of its first major bets is the HTC 10 (HTC One M10).
The HTC 10 is being teased with a #powerof10 hashtag. So far, we know it will have a “world class” camera, enhanced BoomSound technology, and will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. It’s been seen in the wild and has recently edged out the competition while special wallpapers for the model are now made available even before official release of the device.
This time, HTC is teasing the public something related to the audio once again. The BoomSound technology we mentioned before could bring hi-res audio for a more crystal clear listening experience. According to HTC, you’ll definitely hear the difference on the HTC 10. The company also noted that “not all music is created equal” so an improved technology on a new device is what you need.
Others may not agree but audio in smartphones are not usually given much attention. There are a lot of technologies now that can improve audio and it’s about time HTC takes advantage of this area. Hopefully, the next HTC smartphone will impress the mobile users, if not the audiophiles.

Will this phone bring me back to Android? We’ll see. And for the Samsung sheep complaining about the bezels, I’d take HTC over Crapsung any day.
