Any new smartphone isn’t immune to any issues. Name any device or model from any manufacturer, even those from the top brands, and they sure have some bugs or issues that need immediate fixing. The original OnePlus One had touchscreen issues but a firmware update quickly solved them. We were hoping there won’t be any of those on the OnePlus 2. There’s none but apparently, the phone now has a grounding issue according to some early adopters.
So there’s no touchscreen problem but there’s definitely something going (or not going) on the capacitive home button. We’re not sure about this one or it only happens to a few units but when you hold the magnesium alloy frame, the home button won’t work as it should and taps can’t be read. However, button works just fine when phone is laid flat on the table or on the palm of your hand.
Android Police posted a video demonstrating the problem. The latest software update doesn’t seem to fix the error so we’re hoping OnePlus releases an official solution soon or, at least, admit there is a problem. Let’s wait and see what OnePlus’ response will be this time and how soon an update will be released.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Let us know.

Mine has up to a 5 second delay. None of the fixes I’ve read work (such as disabling double tap).
Actually I just found a solution, use the Google Launcher. No more lag at all. Finally! To bad OPO can’t seem to fix there own launcher.
