The saying is that a picture is worth a thousand words, which is simply another way of saying that an image can be presented without large amounts of text and still be able to get the point across. We aren’t sure how many words can be attributed to this picture, however we are seeing what Motorola is doing — trying to keep everyone thinking about the Moto X.
Maybe more to the point, keeping the bit about the handset being “assembled in the USA” in the front of your mind. And just in case anyone had forgotten, Motorola is touting the Moto X smartphone as being one that is designed by you and assembled in the US. Specifically, the Moto X will be assembled at a plant in Texas.
Anyway, Motorola choose to share this image on Twitter. The image is sitting below and as you can see — it unfortunately doesn’t offer any sort of look at what we can expect in terms of the actual handset. Though, there is an interesting looking color chart if you look closely. Putting this teaser aside and we have seen plenty related to the Moto X over the previous few weeks.
We have the promo video that leaked showing the handset running Android 4.3 and we also had what is believed to be a sighting of a Verizon branded Moto X. Of course, there was also those images of Eric Schmidt using the handset. Those pics were showing the Moto X in white, however as we have also learned — the Moto X will be available in a variety of colors. In addition, an earlier rumor was also suggesting various options including wood and ceramic.
Bottom line here, Motorola has officially confirmed the Moto X, however there are still plenty of details that are unknown. In the meantime, we are looking forward to that announcement, but expecting plenty more teasing and rumors to arrive first.
